Hello ~ I’m Scott and welcome to your 5-minute vacation for March 14th. For the next several postcards, I’m trying something different (the explanation is here). I appreciate you inviting me into your inbox today.
Rosemary admiring the Colosseum.
Today’s adventure was laundry. Even after two typed pages of instructions plus two dictionary searches to figure out the washing machine, we used too much detergent and had to experiment with the rinse cycle. Since there isn’t a dryer, we found hangars in the coat alcove in the stairwell and a drying rack folded away on the balcony. We set it all up on the balcony.
After our laundry adventure, we walked around Palatine Hill, the Forum, and the Colosseum. We had lunch outdoors at a charming café. Salads for lunch so we could have yummy pasta for dinner. Clean clothes, Roman ruins, and yummy pasta. It was a good day.
Ciao!
