The Flower Series: a bit of Spring in your inbox
Tulips. Louisville, 2011.
Howdy, friend ~
On our recent walks through the park, we’ve noticed that flowers are just starting to peek through the soil. Soon we’ll have daffodils, crocuses and I-don’t-know-what blooming. It will be glorious. Spring is arriving, day by day.
Inspired by these forthcoming blossoms, today’s email is the beginning of a short series. For the next eight weeks, I’ll share a photo of flowers from my archives, one photo each Sunday, that I hope will bring a bit of Spring’s beauty into your inbox. This series will end the day after Derby,* by which time hopefully Spring will be right outside your window.
Until next week ~
Cheers!
PS ~ Do you know someone else who would like a dash of Spring in their inbox? If so, please do them a favor and forward this to them.
*By “Derby” I mean The Kentucky Derby. Although we’re not native to Louisville, after living there for many years the Derby and Spring are now synonymous to us.
